What is Unitarian Universalism?
Unitarian Universalism is a faith for those who want the freedom to develop their own religious values and beliefs without being bound by creed or dogma.
We meet every Sunday and offer both a worship service for adults and religious education for youth. Our services offer a variety of worship experiences. They may touch on deep life questions, offer insights for spiritual growth and healing, or explore liberal religious aspects of local needs and concerns. Children and youth join adults for part of the service most Sundays and for celebrations of
other special events. An informal coffee hour follows service. See our newsletter for special events.
The Easton Fellowship is part of the Unitarian Universalist Association,
a group of over 1000 congregations throughout North America with continental headquarters in Boston. The UUA was formed in 1961 by merger of the American Unitarian Association and the Universalist Church of America. Both have their roots in the Jewish and Christian liberal tradition. Historically, Unitarianism affirmed the unity of God and Universalism avowed a belief in universal salvation. Today Unitarian Universalism is characterized by freedom of belief, faith in the human potential, and action as a religious community and as a moral force in the
world.
