Rev. John Crestwell to speak on Transcending Stereotypes Contact: Janet Pfeffer 410-770-9540, jpfeffer@goeaston.net John T. Crestwell, Jr. will deliver a sermon entitled Fear Factor: Transcending Stereotypes on November 27 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton, 7401 Ocean Gateway. Services are held at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. with child care at both services and youth Sunday School at 11:00 a.m.

Rev. Crestwell serves as Co-Minister at Davies Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church in Prince George’s County. He earned his Master's Degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, with an emphasis on African-American culture and preaching. Martin Luther King, Jr. declared that “We are all tied inextricably in a single garment of destiny and what affects one affects us all.” But Rev. Crestwell sees too much hate and animosity in our world based in fear. He says that “Perhaps the other King, Rodney King, asked the billion-dollar questions for this century when he said ‘why can’t we all just get along.’ Let’s talk about transcending our fears and stereotypes so we can ‘get along.’” For more information call the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 410-822-8103 or visit the Web-Site at www.uufeaston.org.
