Talbot Interfaith Shelter

The Social Action Committee spearheaded UUFE's involvement with the Talbot Interfaith Shelter project in which homeless people are being sheltered and fed during the coldest part of the Winter.

Hunger Coalition Lunches

Members of UUFE's Social Action Committee help prepare and deliver lunches that are delivered to approximately 90 people in need and residents of a local homeless shelter.

Environmental Task Force

UUFE's Environmental Task Force, a subcommittee of the Social Action Committee, is involved in our Green Sanctuary Project and has been active in Green Jobs and Climate Change awareness programs.

Eastern Shore Climate Action Network (ESCAN)

The Eastern Shore Climate Action Network (ESCAN), a chapter of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) meets periodically at UUFE. This group helped to plan and support a Green Jobs Now event in 2008.
