Small Group Ministries at UUFE -- "Miniministries"
What are "miniministries"? They are what our congregation has decided to call our small group ministries. These are groups of 8-10 people who covenant to meet together for the express purpose of:
- forming deeper, more intimate relationships,
- sharing spiritual struggles and growth,
- deepening religious commitment,
- ministering to each other,
- learning from one another and/or
- finding their spiritual voices.
Typical topics for these groups include: “The Seven Principles -- What do they mean to you?”, “How do you want to be remembered?”, “Mentors”, “Best Friends”, “My Sheros/Heros”, “Fear”, “Truth”, and “What Does the Future Hold”.
Currently, there is one miniministry meeting following services on the third Sunday of each month at 11:30. At least one new miniministry group will be forming in September or October, 2011. Please contact Ann Davis for further information. 410 745-2461.
