ABOUT U.U.F.E.
UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST FELLOWSHIP AT EASTON

UUFE welcomes all to its community of liberal vision and caring. We are a non-creedal faith community. This means that our members determine their own religious beliefs according to their experience and conscience. Our goal is to offer many ways to discover and share beliefs - and to put them into action through service projects and participation - both within the life of the congregation and in the larger community. UUFE is an intentionally inclusive congregation which welcomes all without regard to race, ethnicity, social status, sexual orientation, disability or age.

We have been in Easton since 1960. We are located on Route 50, across from the Easton High School athletic fields. You will find a map if you click on the "Directions" link to the left of this page.

There are many ways that you can learn more about us. To learn about Unitarian Universalism as a national religion, visit uua.org. To learn about our district, go to jpd.org. And please continue browsing this website! Our newsletter is posted each month and contains a wide range of information on our activities, interests and members. But if you really want to know what we are like, come visit us on a Sunday morning. Our worship focuses on our community, our common concerns and our values. Join us in the sharing of joys and concerns and in our social hour following service.

The first part of our service includes our children three Sundays a month, with a story or lesson created especially for them. On other weeks, children gather for their own worship circle. From there, they attend classes taught by loving adults from our community.

Our worship may touch on deep life questions, offer insights for spiritual growth and healing or explore liberal religious aspects of local needs and concerns. We draw on many wisdom traditions. Laughter is often a key ingredient.

To explore UUism more deeply - take one of our Adult Religious Education classes offered on a "drop in" basis on Wednesday evenings. Or come to a special event, like our interfaith potlucks, or fall festival. We also offer many ways to get to know people informally. There are women's book groups, men's and women's lunches and more. We have a song circle that meets to sing and play their guitars and a drumming circle that pounds out rhythms that speak to us wordlessly. To find out about upcoming activities, browse our activites calendar (look for the link on the left side of this page).

If you love nature, take advantage of the natural beauty of our grounds and (in season) walk our nature trail. But most of all, come and meet the people who call themselves Unitarian Universalists. That's the best way to see if this is the right place for you. We look forward to meeting you.
